Close To Home
The latest novel by Neive Denis was released in mid-February.
Set in the Merivale Retirement Village, it introduces us to a disparate group of residents who are brought together by their love of playing Mahjong.  It highlights the friendship, jealousy, envy, and other aspects of lives spent in the close confines of the retirement village. It also is about a little furry dog being without his adoring mistress for far too long
In this, the first book of a new series by Neive Denis, we share the concerns of the Mahjong group  as they investigate the apparent disappearance of one of their key players, Alice Logan, when she fails to return from a vacation.
Close To Home is available in both paperback and digital formats from your favourite bookstore or, for Australian readers, it also is available from our Bookshop page.

Close on her release of House of Secrets Kayla Danoli began working on her next new novel.  She had hoped her new work would be released around Easter this year, but life got in the way, and work on the book was abandoned for a while. She reports work is now back on track and now has a deadline for release in late-May or early-June.

Neive Denis  assures us there will be a tenth book in the Sonoma Whittington, Private Investigator, series but,  at this stage, it is unlikely to be available before the end of the year.
